My Big White Day!

Can you belive it?!
It's SNOWING!
Here in coastal NC!!
This is the first time in 8 years, I've been told
(other than 1 very quick & light flurries this past Nov.) !
WOO HOO!
(We must've brought it back with us from Michigan, ay?)

We got LOTS (well, for us anyway)...

Today we also watched the
inauguration on the computer...

It was neat to witness a historical event.
We do need to be sure to pray for our country.

Anyway, I was busy most of my day
doing loads of schoolwork.
I came down and made supper
along with a 'Hearty Oat Loaf'...

I've wanted to try it for a long time
and just got around to it :)
(I'll post the recipe soon!)

Anyway, I hope you all are having a great week.
Before I stop, I thought I'd share a funny.

My mom...

LOL...
I love you mom!

Wow! What a snow! It's hot down here--no way we'd get snow! Though it did snow in December, but none of it stuck since the ground was so hot. =(

I watched the inauguration (sp?) also. I am not happy that Obama is the new president, but God knows what He's doing. After all, he is the creator of the universe!

I'm glad you were able to watch
the inauguration, I think is important to know whats going on in our government and to hear the speech of the incomming president...
Love you always,

Wow! You sure did get a lot of snow than we did. We got our snow a couple of weeks ago. But it melted :(
I also hope to get around baking today, I am wanting to bake snicker doodles and blondies. I will post soon, hopefully.

Thanks for the comment!
Alli
