Oh yes, He Cares!

The Lord is so good!
Sunday afternoon I was crying to the Lord
about how I've had physical ailments for so long.
I was telling Him how I felt that no one understood or cared
and I was getting quite discouraged!

But when we went back to church that evening,
He really uplifted my spirits and encouraged me
through the special music... the song 'Does Jesus Care'.

I thought I'd share the words to this beautiful song.
I, also, composed an arrangement of it on the piano today.
(You'll have to stop my blog background music, though.
And, please, excuse our untuned piano!)

Does Jesus Care?

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth and song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night-shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

(chorus)
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares;
His heart is touched with my grief.
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Saviour cares.

Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong,
When for my deep grief I find no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Does Jesus care when I've said "good-bye"
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

(chorus)
Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares;
His heart is touched with my grief.
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Saviour cares.

Words by Frank E. Graeff

And it really amazes me that He cared so much about me
that He sent such encouragement

right when He knew I needed it!
He truly is a great Saviour!
So good to me and always gives me what I need!

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
1 Peter 5:7

"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."
Psalms 34:18-19

Do you mind if I ask what you suffer from? I have been studying herbs for a couple of years now and I have noticed on your mothers posts that it seems that often you are not feeling well. Have you tried herbal remedies for what you have?
